Respiratory Therapist (Registered Respiratory Therapist) position in Newport, Oregon. Start date: 06/15/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment with guaranteed 36 hours per week on a rotating shift in a hospital setting. Weekly pay range: $1,932–$1,992. This travel role requires NBRC-RRT registration, Oregon licensure, Healthcare Provider BLS, and ACLS/NRP/PALS; two years of clinical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Assess and treat patients requiring respiratory therapy in a hospital setting, including ventilator management and weaning as appropriate.
- Administer prescribed therapies (nebulized medications, chest physiotherapy, humidity therapy) and perform airway clearance therapies.
- Monitor patient responses, interpret arterial blood gases, and adjust therapies according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Manage and monitor respiratory equipment, ensure proper function, perform patient and family education, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to optimize cardiopulmonary outcomes and ensure infection control and safety standards.
Requirements
- Current NBRC-RRT registration (active)
- Oregon Respiratory Care License (active)
- Healthcare Provider BLS certification
- ACLS, NRP, and PALS required
- Two (2) years of clinical Respiratory Care experience preferred
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and participate in a rotating shift schedule
