This travel RN role focuses on the ED at a large, high-volume facility with an emphasis on adult and pediatric care. Experience in a level 1 trauma environment is preferred. Credentialing processes may be in progress with conditional compliance allowed.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care for adult and pediatric ED patients, including triage, assessment, stabilization, and ongoing monitoring
- Administer medications, therapies, and interventions per physician orders and ED protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, ancillary staff, and the care team to coordinate safe, efficient patient flow
- Document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately in the medical record; communicate changes to the team and family as appropriate
- Assist during trauma and resuscitation events; adhere to safety, infection control, and patient safety standards
- Facilitate discharge planning, patient education, and appropriate referrals when applicable
Requirements
- 4 years of well-rounded adult and pediatric ED experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
- TNCC or ENPC preferred
- Ability to work a night shift (12x3) in a fast-paced Emergency Department
- Credentialing in process is acceptable with conditional compliance
