Responsibilities
- Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedure patient care for invasive, interventional, and therapeutic procedures to treat cardiac and vascular disorders.
- Assist radiologists during imaging-guided interventional procedures, confirm sterile technique, and prep/position patients as required.
- Operate imaging equipment (fluoroscopy and radiography) and support device implantation/removal and leads as directed; ensure radiation safety practices.
- Monitor patient status, document procedures, and communicate findings or concerns to the care team.
- Support post-procedure recovery, assess vitals, and educate patients and families as appropriate.
Requirements
- Active California licensure to practice radiologic technology or eligibility.
- Current ARRT certification (or eligibility) as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Experience or exposure in an interventional radiology setting is preferred.
- Ability to work a 4x10-hour shift schedule and participate in a 13-week travel assignment.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment and follow safety and best-practice protocols.
