Responsibilities
- Provide support during invasive, interventional, and therapeutic procedures in the interventional radiology department under physician direction.
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields; assist with catheter placements, device implants/removals, and selected ablation procedures as applicable.
- Operate imaging equipment (fluoroscopy and radiography) and acquire high-quality images; assist with documentation of procedures.
- Monitor patient status during procedures and in post-procedure recovery; manage supplies and contrast administration per protocol.
- Ensure adherence to safety, radiation protection, infection control, and patient-care standards; assist with room turnover and equipment readiness.
Requirements
- Travel assignment eligibility and ability to commit to a 13-week assignment
- Availability to work 40 hours per week across 4x10-hour shifts
- Willingness to work in an interventional radiology setting and collaborate with physicians and nursing staff
- Strong communication, patient-care, and safety-compliance skills
- Ability to comply with facility and regulatory credentialing requirements and maintain standards
