Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to geriatric residents in a long-term care setting
- Assess, monitor, and document residents’ conditions; contribute to and update individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per orders; monitor for adverse effects and document responses
- Collaborate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate care
- Respond promptly to changes in resident status and emergencies; ensure safety, comfort, and dignity
- Perform routine tasks such as vital signs, wound care, injections, and use of call lights as part of daily care
Requirements
- Active North Carolina RN license
- Minimum 12 months of recent RN experience
- Ability to work 8-hour evening shifts (3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.)
- Willingness to work in a long-term care setting in Washington, NC
- Travel assignment eligibility and ability to meet on-site requirements
