CT Technologist (CT Tech) – Radiology in Kodiak, Alaska, United States. Start date: 06/29/2026. Duration: Weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,441–$2,573 per week. Guaranteed hours: 70 hours per 2 weeks. Shift: Nights, 4x10s (6:00 PM–4:00 AM). Setting: Acute care hospital with long-term care and outpatient services. This travel assignment requires CT imaging expertise within a hospital radiology department, including coverage for X-ray as needed and support across a range of patient populations.

Responsibilities
- Perform CT examinations with and without contrast across head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and vascular studies (CTA); brain perfusion and enterography as applicable
- Operate Philips 64-slice Brilliance CT; prepare and administer contrast, monitor patients for reactions, and ensure radiation safety
- Acquire, review, and process CT studies; verify imaging quality and consistency; document findings in the patient record
- Manage venipuncture/IV access as needed for contrast administration; follow infection control and safety protocols
- Utilize PACS for image storage and retrieval; document procedures in the Epic charting system
- Float within scope to cover X-ray duties and support affiliated imaging services as needed; respond to ED/trauma imaging requests
- Provide patient-centered care for diverse populations, including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, and adults
- Respond to on-call needs and participate in weekend coverage as required
Requirements
- ARRT-CT certification; BLS required
- Licensure: Alaska licensure or active license as applicable; pending license acceptance may be considered per compliance notes; verify requirements prior to submission
- Years of experience: 0–1 year; first-timers accepted
- Epic charting experience (preferred or willingness to learn)
- Ability to perform CT imaging with or without contrast and to float to X-ray when needed
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and two of the three major holidays as required
- Effective communication and patient-care skills in a fast-paced imaging environment
