MRI Technologist (Radiology Tech) – Travel assignment in Clarkston, Washington. Start date 07/06/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay $2,366–$2,455 per week with guaranteed hours of 36. Shift pattern is Fri–Sun on 12-hour shifts (6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., approximately). Work setting is a long-term care (LTC) nursing home environment. This is a travel - temporary assignment managed through Healthforce Healthcare LLC. No on-call required.

Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations for patients in the LTC setting, ensuring proper positioning, coil selection, and protocol selection to optimize image quality.
- Screen patients for MRI safety, verify orders, obtain informed consent when required, and document imaging in the electronic health record.
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to adjust protocols, improve image quality, and ensure patient comfort and safety during scans.
- Communicate clearly with patients about procedures, monitor for adverse events or discomfort, and provide respectful, patient-centered care.
- Maintain MRI equipment and safety practices, adhere to infection control standards, and report any equipment issues or safety concerns.
- Ensure accurate documentation of imaging procedures, tagging, and archiving images in the radiology information system.

Requirements
- Active MRI technologist license/credential as required by Washington State; ARRT MRI certification preferred.
- Minimum 1 year MRI experience; experience in LTC or geriatric settings preferred.
- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent; appropriate state licensure/credentialing.
- BLS certification preferred; other standard radiology safety training as applicable.
- Ability to work Fri–Sun shifts and commit to a 13-week travel assignment; strong safety, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt to a nursing home environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
