In this role, you’ll perform radiographic examinations across a diverse patient mix, including adults, children, and seniors. Responsibilities encompass patient preparation, precise positioning, and selecting exposure factors to optimize image quality while minimizing radiation dose. You’ll operate X-ray equipment, verify patient information, and follow established protocols to ensure safety and efficacy. CR/DR image capture, processing, and timely review by radiologists will be complemented by documentation, quality control, and adherence to ALARA principles. You’ll contribute to a smooth radiology workflow by coordinating referrals, maintaining equipment readiness, managing inventory of imaging supplies, and participating in department quality improvement initiatives.
