In this role, you’ll perform radiographic examinations across a diverse patient mix, including adults, children, and seniors. Responsibilities encompass patient preparation, precise positioning, and selecting exposure factors to optimize image quality while minimizing radiation dose. You’ll operate X-ray equipment, verify patient information, and follow established protocols to ensure safety and efficacy. CR/DR image capture, processing, and timely review by radiologists will be complemented by documentation, quality control, and adherence to ALARA principles. You’ll contribute to a smooth radiology workflow by coordinating referrals, maintaining equipment readiness, managing inventory of imaging supplies, and participating in department quality improvement initiatives. The position also offers the potential to expand into related modalities or procedural imaging, affording pathways to broaden your technical repertoire and clinical leadership.
