Responsibilities
- Deliver direct, coordinated nursing care for oncology patients according to the nursing process and established standards of care.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses; manage symptoms using evidence-based protocols.
- Develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans; participate in discharge planning and patient education.
- Utilize critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making to prioritize patient needs.
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team; maintain documentation and patient safety standards.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in California
- Degree from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Oncology nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work nights and 12-hour shifts; 3x12 schedule
- Eligibility to work in the United States
