Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for PCU patients, including continuous assessment and monitoring of vital signs and clinical status.
- Administer medications, including high-alert therapies, and perform associated procedures per protocol.
- Manage advanced-critical care needs (CRRT, BiPAP, labs, chest tubes, PICC lines) and coordinate related interventions.
- Draw labs, interpret results, and respond to abnormal values with appropriate escalation.
- Conduct own consultations and participate in codes when needed; collaborate with the care team to ensure timely and safe patient care.
- Care for patients across ICU and inpatient units as assigned, with appropriate documentation and patient-family education.

Requirements
- Active KS RN license or Compact RN license
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHF certifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent Critical Care/Intensive Care Unit experience
- Experience with CRRT, BiPAP, drawing labs, chest tubes, and PICC lines
- Ability to float to ICU and multiple inpatient units (Med/Surg, Med/Tele, Acute/Tele, ED) and to conduct own codes when needed
- Availability to work 3x12 night shifts, with every-other-weekend requirement
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced acute care environment
