Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients, with emphasis on post-operative and medically complex cases
- Monitor vital signs and telemetry, assess changes in condition, and escalate as needed
- Administer prescribed medications, perform treatments, and manage IV therapy according to protocol
- Develop and update individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the medical record
- Assist with discharge planning and patient and family education; ensure safe transitions of care

Requirements
- Active RN license (Arizona) or eligible for AZ licensure
- Med/Surg Telemetry experience or recent Med/Surg nursing background with telemetry
- Ability to work in a surgical center environment and to float to other units as needed
- Flu vaccine required with no exceptions
- Compliance with assignment policies: no permanent address within 100 miles of the facility; RTO no more than 3 days per 13-week contract
