Weekly pay: $2,291–$2,431 per week
Guaranteed hours: 40 weekly
Shift: 10-hour day shifts, four days per week; call required
Setting: travel assignment in a hospital operating room environment

- Floating and call: Floating is required; travel staff may float to sister campuses as needed; call coverage includes 1 shift per week after scheduled day (2–4 hours) and 1–2 12-hour weekend shifts per month
Responsibilities
- Deliver perioperative nursing care in the operating room for surgical cases, including preop assessment, intraoperative support, and postoperative handoffs
- Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers; maintain sterile technique and patient safety; ensure proper equipment setup and room readiness
- Monitor patient status, including vital signs and anesthesia equipment, and document in the Epic EMR
- Support a variety of case types with emphasis on ortho, oncology, bariatrics, vascular, neuro, trauma and robotics; actively participate in robotic-assisted procedures as needed
- Manage instrument counts, specimen handling, and efficient room turnover; collaborate with team to optimize patient flow
- Float to other campus locations as assigned; communicate changes in patient needs and unit policies to leadership
Requirements
- Active Florida or compact RN license at time of submittal
- Minimum of 2 years OR nursing experience; prior travel experience required
- Robotic and ortho/neuro experience required
- BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred
- Epic EMR experience
- Degree accreditation on profile or at least 5 years of OR nursing experience
