Registered Nurse – ER, travel assignment in Hamburg, IA. Start date 05/26/2026 for 16 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,066 to $2,219. Guaranteed hours 36 per week. Shift: 3x12 nights (7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.). Responsibilities
- Serve as supervisor/Charge Nurse for Med Surg and ER, providing clinical leadership and coordinating patient flow.
- Deliver direct patient care as needed while maintaining supervision of care teams during night shifts.
- Coordinate staffing assignments and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient safety and throughput.
- Ensure accurate documentation, adherence to policies, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Support admission, transfer, and discharge processes; respond to emergencies and escalate issues appropriately.
- Mentor and guide junior staff, promote best practices in infection control, safety, and quality metrics.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license to practice
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
- Supervisory/charge nurse experience in Med Surg and ER preferred
- OB/Newborn Stabilization education/training is a plus
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and participate in block scheduling (6 on, 8 off)
