Travel Registered Nurse Med Surg Job
OR - Med Surg/RN - NOC in Lincoln City, Oregon. This travel nursing role supports a Medical-Surgical unit within a Critical Access Hospital. Start date: 03/19/2026 for a 13-week assignment with guaranteed 36 hours per week. The shift is 3×12-hour nights with rotating weekends. Weekly pay ranges from $1,957 to $2,062. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to acutely ill adults and post-operative patients in Med Surg.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications and treatments per physician orders, and document care in the medical record.
- Perform ongoing assessments, respond to changes in patient condition, and escalate concerns to the primary team as needed.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including nursing assistants, therapists, and physicians, to coordinate timely and safe patient care.
- Support discharge planning and patient education to promote safe transitions of care.
- Adhere to infection control practices, safety protocols, and hospital policies during all shifts.
Requirements
- Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission
- Healthcare Provider BLS certification required
- AHA ACLS and NIHSS required for Med Surg duties
- Demonstrated Med Surg nursing competency; specialty certification in Medical Surgical Nursing strongly encouraged
- Ability to work a 3×12-hour night shift with rotating weekends in a Medical-Surgical setting
- Education: RN licensure in good standing (no degree level specified in the notes)
