Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct segments of treatment programs designed to restore and improve physical, social, and mental functions, while meeting department objectives.
- Serve as co-leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient groups.
- Perform initial and ongoing evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patient goals.
- Implement evidence-based OT interventions to improve independence in activities of daily living and functional outcomes.
- Document patient progress, outcomes, and compliance with regulatory standards; adjust plans as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines (e.g., PT, SLP, nursing) to support integrated care and patient goals.
Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapist license (US) or equivalent eligibility
- Ability to work in a daytime, 8-hour shift as part of a travel assignment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; experience in interdisciplinary care preferred
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans
- Commitment to documentation accuracy and regulatory compliance
