Radiology Technologist (Radiology Tech) – Travel assignment in Templeton, California. Start date: 04/27/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,111 to $2,136 per week. Shift: 4 days on, 10 hours each (Fri–Mon), mid shift with potential call nights. Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital. Employment type: Travel - Temporary Assignment. This role focuses on multi-modality imaging with both CT and X-ray responsibilities; Siemens 64 Somatom CT scanner in use. The admin fee is already deducted from the rate. RTO, birthdate, and social security number are requested with submission.

Responsibilities
- Perform CT and X-ray examinations across designated patient areas, following physician orders and imaging protocols
- Operate radiology equipment safely, including CT protocols, fluoroscopy, and related imaging modalities
- Maintain patient and radiation safety standards, including ALARA principles and IV certification utilization
- Document procedures, review images for quality, and communicate findings to radiologists as required
- Collaborate with radiology and nursing teams; participate in on-call coverage (2–3 nights per week) as scheduled
- Ensure proper consent, patient positioning, and adherence to state licensure and ARRT requirements
- Maintain accurate inventory, calibrations, and routine quality control on imaging equipment
Requirements
- California Radiologic Technologist (RT) license; ARRT certification required
- Current ARRT Radiography certification; must hold or be eligible for ARRT-CT or equivalent modality certification (CT, MRI, NM, S, or PET) with ability to perform duties in at least one additional modality
- Education: Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required; Bachelor's or higher preferred; Master’s preferred
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the submitted unit specialty within the last 3 months
- Certifications: AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS required; fluoroscopy experience; IV Certification (or willing to obtain)
- Specifics: Must be able to work in the stated location; experience with a Siemens CT scanner (64 Somatom) is preferred
- Additional: RTO, birthdate, and social security number must be included when submitting a profile
