Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasonic diagnostic procedures in accordance with accepted protocols as directed by physicians.
- Produce images of internal body tissues to diagnose and monitor conditions such as heart disease, pregnancy, and cancer.
- Ensure high-quality imaging through proper technique, patient positioning, and equipment settings.
- Supervise and mentor ultrasound personnel; contribute to on-the-job training and competency development.
- Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment; document findings and perform routine quality control as required.
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and documentation standards; collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements
- Current California licensure to practice ultrasound or eligibility to obtain licensure in California.
- Certification in diagnostic ultrasound (e.g., ARDMS/ARRT or equivalent) preferred.
- Prior ultrasound experience; demonstrated ability to perform a range of ultrasound procedures.
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and follow physician-directed protocols.
- Strong patient care, communication, and teamwork skills.
- BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain.
