Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities and healthcare needs under supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
- Provide direct and indirect resident care, including personal care, comfort, and maintenance of a safe, clean environment
- Support residents with activities of daily living and mobility, promoting dignity and respect
- Communicate effectively with residents and staff; escalate concerns to the supervising RN/LVN as appropriate
- Maintain basic documentation and follow facility policies; contribute to a safe and supportive care environment
Requirements
- Active California CNA certificate
- BLS certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate in English (verbal and written)
- Availability to work weekends (and days) as required
- Basic computer skills and ability to follow directions and policies
