Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to step-down unit patients according to care plans and hospital protocols

- Collaborate with physicians, unit leadership, and other health professionals to coordinate care and discharge planning
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record
- Maintain patient safety and comfort, manage lines and tubes, and follow isolation and infection-control practices
Requirements
- Active RN license in good standing (state requirements to be determined)
- Experience in step-down or intermediate/acute care settings preferred
- Ability to work evening, 8-hour shifts (5 days per week)
- Willingness to participate in a travel temporary assignment (PRN)
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively in a hospital setting and adapt to a fast-paced environment
