Responsibilities
- Perform outpatient radiographic exams (X-ray) across body regions as ordered, ensuring diagnostic image quality
- Position patients correctly, adjust exposure settings, and apply shielding to protect patients and staff
- Verify patient identity and exam details; obtain consent as required; label images accurately
- Operate imaging equipment, process images, and enter exam data into the radiology information system
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to meet imaging needs and maintain workflow
- Adhere to infection control practices and radiation safety guidelines; participate in routine equipment checks and quality assurance
Requirements
- Active California radiology technologist license (as required by state regulations)
- Certification in radiography (ARRT or as required by state and facility policies)
- Relevant experience performing outpatient radiographic exams; strong image quality and safety focus
- Ability to work 10-hour shifts and accommodate occasional weekend hours
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment and start on or before 03/25/2026
- Good communication and teamwork skills; ability to work in a fast-paced imaging setting
