Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures on specified scanner platforms (GE Revolution 256 or Siemens Flash 128-slice) per orders and established protocols.
- Properly position and immobilize patients; operate CT equipment to acquire diagnostic-quality images while minimizing patient dose.
- Assess patient readiness, screen for contraindications to contrast, obtain consent, and administer contrast as directed; monitor for adverse reactions.
- Verify orders, document studies, and ensure accurate labeling and record-keeping; communicate findings with radiologists as needed.
- Adhere to radiation safety standards, infection control practices, and equipment safety checks; participate in routine quality assurance checks.
- Collaborate with radiology staff and trauma team to support timely, safe imaging in a Level 1 trauma center environment; respond to emergencies per protocol.

Requirements
- Certifications/Licenses: ARRT CT certification (or eligible); BLS; Kansas Board of Healing Arts license or eligibility (candidates may apply for KSBHA upon offer)
- Experience: Recent Level 1 trauma center experience
- Specialty knowledge: CT imaging expertise with attention to dose optimization and image quality
- Availability: Ability to work 12-hour night shifts; weekend coverage as required
- Education: Not specified in notes; competent completion of an accredited radiologic technology program is assumed
