Licensed Practical Nurse, Med Surg – Cordova, AK. Travel assignment begins 04/27/2026 for a 16-week contract. Weekly pay range is $1,735–$1,799 with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift: 3x12 rotating (days or nights). This inpatient med-surg role covers swing bed and acute inpatient care in a hospital setting. Housing is provided within walking distance of the work site, with no pets allowed in provided housing. Travel arrangements are coordinated as part of the assignment.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care for adult inpatients on the med-surg floor, including swing bed and acute units
- Administer medications and IV therapy; monitor IV lines and respond to IV-related issues
- Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and document findings in the electronic medical record
- Collaborate with the nursing team and interdisciplinary staff to coordinate care and support discharge planning
- Adhere to patient safety standards, infection control practices, and facility protocols
- Respond to changes in patient condition and participate in escalation or rapid response as needed
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted LPN license in Alaska
- Current ACLS and PALS certifications
- IV certification
- Education: Graduate of an accredited LPN program
- Relevant experience in med-surg or acute inpatient care
- Ability to work in a hospital inpatient setting on a 3x12 rotating schedule (days or nights) and be willing to travel for the assignment
