Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Collect relevant data, analyze assessment findings, and develop an ongoing plan of care; implement and coordinate care delivery.
- Administer medications, monitor patient response, and intervene as needed to ensure safety and quality.
- Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other disciplines; supervise and delegate duties to appropriate nursing staff.
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care and provide patient and family education.
- Promote a safe, healing, and compassionate environment while supporting learning opportunities for patients, families, and team members.
Requirements
- Active RN license in California
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience
- BSN degree preferred
