Travel - Temporary Assignment in a hospital setting. Weekly pay range: $3,122 per week to $3,321 per week.

Responsibilities
- Deliver prescribed external beam radiation treatments to oncology patients using a Varian TrueBeam system; operate related imaging and treatment delivery equipment.
- Perform patient simulation, setup, immobilization, and daily treatment verification imaging to ensure accurate dose delivery.
- Collaborate with the radiation oncology team to develop and implement treatment plans, consistent with physician orders and established protocols.
- Maintain precise treatment records, verify patient identity, and document all procedures in the electronic health record.
- Monitor patient status during treatment, respond to routine concerns, and ensure adherence to radiation safety and ALARA principles.
- Contribute to quality assurance activities and participate in ongoing training related to IX and ARIA software platforms as applicable.
Requirements
- NY license to practice radiologic technology in hand (required)
- Graduation from an AMA-approved program of Radiologic Technology
- Current ARRT registration (Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- One year of radiation therapy experience
- Current BCLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Knowledge of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Ability to work day shift in a hospital setting; comfortable performing duties in a clinical oncology environment
- Familiarity with Varian TrueBeam, and the IX and ARIA software platforms is preferred
