Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under supervision of registered nursing staff
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ambulation, bathing, dressing, grooming) and comfort measures
- Monitor patient condition, vitals, and report changes promptly to the nursing team
- Assist with patient transfers, mobility, and adherence to safety protocols
- Support telemetry and routine clinical tasks as assigned; document care accurately in the electronic health record (Epic)
- Maintain infection control practices, patient safety, and privacy standards; observe for changes in patient status
Requirements
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in Oregon
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Epic EMR experience required
- Minimum 2 years of CNA experience in a hospital setting
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (07:00–19:30) in a hospital environment
- Must be able to perform the physical duties of a 12-hour shift and work within a team
