Responsibilities
- Provide Speech-Language Pathology services by physician referral across inpatient, outpatient, Home Health, and community settings
- Perform assessments and evaluations; establish a plan of care with goals; implement and adjust therapy to maximize functional outcomes
- Communicate with referring providers, nurses, and rehabilitation colleagues; participate in care conferences and discharge planning; coordinate equipment and services as needed
- Document findings, treatment plans, progress notes, and prognoses in accordance with hospital/payer policies and ASHA guidelines; ensure timely workflow for continuity of care
- Develop and deliver patient and family education, including clear home exercise programs; tailor instruction to cultural and linguistic needs; supervise students or interns when assigned

Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- CCC-SLP credential and Alaska state license in Speech-Language Pathology (active at time of submittal)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Pediatric and outpatient experience required
- Flu vaccine required
- Ability to work across inpatient, outpatient, Home Health, and community settings; willingness to travel to remote locations as needed
