This is a travel RN position in a long-term care setting. The assignment runs for 13 weeks starting August 3, 2026, with night shifts and a guaranteed 36 hours per week. The role is in Med Surg Tele within a nursing home environment, designed to support patient care across a spectrum of medical conditions.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for Med Surg Tele patients within a long-term care facility, aligning with physician orders and established care plans.
- Monitor vital signs, assess patient conditions, recognize changes, and intervene per protocol to ensure patient safety.
- Administer medications and treatments, including IV therapies as approved, and document administration accurately.
- Collaborate with the care team, including charge nurses, physicians, and case managers, to coordinate care and plan smooth patient transitions.
- Record patient information in the electronic health record, ensure accuracy, and maintain compliance with facility policies.
- Provide education to patients and families as appropriate and participate in discharge planning or care coordination as needed. Ability to float to other units if required.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Washington or active Multi-State license
- American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or educational equivalent
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC)
- Ability to float to other units as needed
