Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care for surgical patients in the operating room
- Prepare the OR, ensure sterile technique, and assist the surgical team with instrumentation and supplies
- Monitor patient status intraoperatively, manage exchanges with the anesthesia team, and document events
- Maintain sterile fields, assist with patient positioning, draping, and instrument counts
- Support a range of cases including robotics, neuro, ortho, plastics, and gynecology
- Facilitate smooth handoffs to postoperative care and complete accurate intraoperative documentation

Requirements
- Min of 2 years of RECENT OR/perioperative nursing experience
- American Heart Association BLS required; ACLS preferred
- Ability to work a 12-hour evening shift and adapt to a fast-paced surgical environment
- Willingness to travel for a temporary assignment and work across multiple case types as described
- No local candidates within 50 miles of the assignment location
- Must be able to operate effectively in a hospital operating room setting
