Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients in the med-surg area according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess and monitor patient conditions; develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and therapies; monitor responses and document clinical observations.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff on the unit; coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams.
- Utilize critical thinking, professional judgment, and adherence to patient safety and quality standards in daily practice.
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the health care team to ensure continuity of care and patient advocacy.

Requirements
- Active RN license to practice in California (or eligible per state requirements)
- Med-surg and/or inpatient nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a travel assignment and adapt to unit needs
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
- Demonstrated ability to follow established standards of care and the nursing process
