Travel - Temporary Assignment in a skilled nursing facility. Start date April 13, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 35 per week. Weekly pay: $1,508–$1,606 per week. Shift: 08:00–16:30, five days per week. This is a travel assignment with permanent responsibilities in a clinical rehab team.

Responsibilities
- Conduct resident functional assessments and synthesize findings to determine OT needs and goals.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans within the OT scope of practice; adjust goals based on progress.
- Deliver therapy to improve activities of daily living, upper-extremity function, mobility, balance, and cognitive engagement.
- Apply therapeutic techniques, adaptive equipment, and assistive devices; document progress notes and communicate with the interdisciplinary team.
- Participate in discharge planning and coordinate smooth transitions to home or follow-up services.
- Maintain accurate documentation, ensure regulatory and policy compliance, and uphold safety and infection control standards.
Requirements
- Active California COTA license or eligibility for licensure in the state of practice.
- Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program (Associate degree).
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility or rehabilitation setting preferred.
- Ability to perform OT interventions and documentation in a skilled nursing environment; strong communication skills.
- Willingness to travel for a temporary assignment and comply with onboarding requirements.
