Surgical Services - CVOR Tech in cardiothoracic surgery, Everett, WA. Start date: 04/13/2026. This travel assignment runs for a number of weeks with a weekly pay range of $2,044–$2,126. Guaranteed hours: 70 hours per 2-week period. Shift: 4x10 Days. The role takes place in a hospital setting with a high-volume cardiothoracic program. The position requires experience as a scrub tech in CT/THORACIC cases and participation in standard call coverage as described below.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the single scrub for cardiothoracic cases, including CABG, AVR, MVR, AAA, minimally invasive valve procedures, VATS, RATS, and mediastinoscopy
- Prepare and maintain sterile setup, instruments, and supplies; assist with draping and positioning; manage surgical counts and specimen handling
- Handle laparoscopic and thoracic procedural equipment; assist with robotic-assisted and standard thoracic cases as needed
- Support flexible endoscope reprocessing (preferred: bronchoscopes, EGD scopes, EBUS); ensure scope integrity and turnover between cases
- Provide ongoing intraoperative support: anticipate instrument needs, assist with suction, hemostasis, and field equipment; maintain situational awareness of patient status
- Participate in call coverage per policy (1–2 weekday calls per week; 1 weekend per month) and float to main/general OR as assigned
- Adapt to a high-volume, interdisciplinary team environment and maintain adherence to established protocols and safety standards
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of operating room experience, with a strong focus on cardiothoracic surgery
- Cardiac/thoracic scrub experience required; comfortable handling major CT cases listed above
- Proficient in laparoscopic techniques
- BLS certification required; NBSTSA certification preferred
- Ability to work as a sole CT scrub in complex cases and to float to main/general OR as needed
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced hospital setting and adhere to sterile technique and patient safety standards
