Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care to adult and geriatric patients per physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Administer and monitor respiratory therapies, adjust ventilator settings, and assess patient response.
- Manage airway support, including humidification, suctioning, aerosolized medications, and airway clearance techniques.
- Perform arterial blood gas collection and analysis; interpret results and communicate findings to the care team.
- Document assessments, treatments, and patient responses; collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other therapists as part of the care plan.
- Participate in rounds and ensure adherence to patient safety and infection control standards.

Requirements
- Licensure: Georgia-licensed Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) per NBRC; NBRC RRT credential
- Certification: American Heart Association BLS certification
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent experience in respiratory care within a specialty setting
- Education: Graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program and eligibility for RRT licensure in Georgia
- Availability: Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a hospital setting; willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment
- General: Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team
