Travel Registered Nurse OR Job
This is a travel RN opportunity in the operating room. The position is a Registered Nurse (OR) assignment in Cordillera, Colorado. Start date: May 11, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,167–$2,285 per week. Guaranteed hours: 32 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour days. Setting: Surgery center environment requiring perioperative nursing care.

Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for perioperative patients and their families, with a focus on safety and individualized care.
- Monitor patient status, assist in procedures, and support the surgical team to optimize safety and efficiency.
- Oversee daily patient flow, triage incoming requests, and coordinate care with providers and ancillary staff.
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and assist with procedures in accordance with patient safety guidelines.
- Deliver patient education to facilitate the plan of care and informed healthcare choices.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and uphold a Just Culture and organizational values while collaborating with care teams.
Requirements
- Active registered nurse license in Colorado or a valid compact state
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Experience in perioperative or operating room nursing preferred
- Ability to work in an OR setting, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively with patients and families
- HIPAA compliant and able to adhere to safety and privacy standards
- Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment and work a 3x12-hour shift schedule
