Overview
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Respiratory Therapist role positioned for travel assignment in Cumming, GA. Start date: 09/08/2026 for a 13-week assignment with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift consists of 12-hour day shifts (12x3), with schedule variations between 7:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Occasional weekend coverage may be required. This is a hospital-based respiratory care position. Note: No local candidates within 50 miles.

Responsibilities
- Deliver prescribed respiratory therapies, including ventilator support, airway clearance, oxygen therapy, and inhaled medications per physician orders and protocol
- Assess patient status, initiate and adjust therapy based on clinical findings, and monitor responses to treatments
- Document all care thoroughly in the patient record and communicate changes to the care team
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain respiratory equipment; observe infection control and safety standards
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other staff; participate in rounds and respond to respiratory emergencies as needed

Requirements
- GA RRT license and NBRC-RRT certification
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent (within specialty) respiratory care experience
- Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program (or equivalent) to support licensure and certification requirements
- Willingness to relocate or travel; no local candidates within 50 miles
- Holiday coverage: Must work two major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year’s Day) and one minor holiday (e.g., the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve)
