Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse – ER travel assignment in Simi Valley, California. Start date 08/17/2026 for a 5-week contract. Nights shift with 12-hour shifts (3x12). 36 hours per week. Weekly pay range: $2,140 to $2,274 per week. Work setting is a hospital environment under a travel temporary assignment.

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, coordinating care with other disciplines.
- Utilize critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making to maintain high-quality patient care.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses, documenting outcomes according to policy.
- Uphold patient safety, ensure adherence to clinical protocols, and participate in ongoing quality improvement efforts.
- Support discharge planning and patient/family education as appropriate.
Requirements
- Active RN license in California
- Current BLS certification
- ER nursing experience preferred
- Nursing degree from an accredited program (ASRN/BSN acceptable)
- Ability to work nights and the 3x12 schedule in a fast-paced ER setting
