Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job
Nuclear Medicine Technologist position in a hospital setting in Hilo, Hawaii. Start date: 08/31/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Weekly pay ranges from $2,977 to $3,216. Responsibilities
- Radiopharmaceutical preparation and quality control (Q.C.)
- General nuclear medicine imaging, including image acquisition and processing
- EKG preparation and monitoring for cardiac exams
- Receiving, labeling, and documenting radioactive shipments
- NRC-mandated daily and weekly quality control and documentation
- Operate and maintain unit equipment (e.g., Siemens dual-headed ECAM with ESOFT, CAPTUS 3000 NMIS, GE MAC 5000) and ensure safety protocols are followed
Requirements
- Active Hawaii state license by start of assignment (any traveler not currently licensed must apply upon acceptance)
- ARRT or CNMT in Nuclear Medicine
- BLS - Must be AHAS
- Minimum 3 years of Nuclear Medicine experience
- Ability to float to other units/departments based on competency and licensure
