Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse – ER | Lodi, CA | Start 08/03/2026 | 13-week travel assignment | $1,602-$1,719 per week | Guaranteed 36 hours | Shift: 3x12 nights | Setting: Short-term acute care hospital
The ER RN will provide coordinated nursing care for an assigned patient group following established standards of care and the nursing process. This travel role supports a high-acuity, fast-paced emergency department and requires collaboration with the care team to ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate patient experiences.
Key Highlights
- Weekly pay: $1,602-$1,719 per week
- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
- Contract duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM), 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts
- Start date: 08/03/2026
- Setting: Acute care ER in a short-term, inpatient-focused facility
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in the Emergency Department, aligning with the nursing process and evidence-based practices
- Conduct triage, comprehensive assessments, and continuous monitoring of patients’ conditions
- Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and respond to emergencies with appropriate clinical interventions
- Collaborate with physicians, support staff, and family members to plan and coordinate patient care and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record and ensure patient safety, infection control, and accurate handoffs
- Provide patient and family education, and supervise or coordinate activities of other nursing staff as assigned
Requirements
- Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) license in California (active)
- Certifications: BLS required; ACLS required; PALS required; NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required
- Experience: At least two years of recent ER nursing experience in an acute or related setting
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Eligibility: Ability to work in a fast-paced ER environment and meet the demands of night-shift scheduling
