Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations for residents and assess functional goals.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans to improve activities of daily living, mobility, cognition, and functional independence.
- Provide skilled OT interventions according to physician orders and facility protocols; adjust plans based on resident progress.
- Document assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge planning in compliance with regulatory and payer requirements.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (nursing, therapy, social work) to coordinate care, progress toward goals, and plan transitions or discharges.
- Ensure safety and infection control standards are followed; participate in quality improvement and resident safety initiatives.
Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapist license in North Dakota or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program (Master’s or Doctorate as required for licensure).
- Ability to provide services in a long-term care / nursing home setting.
- Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment with 36 hours guaranteed per week.
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills; ability to work within an interdisciplinary team.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
