Weekly pay: $2,309–$2,449 per week
Shift: 3x12 nights
Travel assignment in a hospital setting
Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for ER patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess patient conditions, develop and implement individualized care plans, and document responses to treatment.
- Administer medications, monitor for adverse effects, manage IV therapy, and respond to emergent changes in patient status.
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and other disciplines to coordinate care and ensure patient safety.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff as needed, using professional judgment and critical thinking.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatments, and post-discharge instructions.
Requirements
- Emergency Department nursing experience (ER) or demonstrated ability to function effectively in a high-acuity ER setting.
- Ability to work a 3x12-hour night shift.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical judgment skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to meet facility credentialing and screening requirements and to pass necessary background checks.
