Vascular Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech, Concord, New Hampshire, United States. Travel - Temporary Assignment. Start date: 07/06/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,892 – $3,130 per week. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Shift: 4 days per week, 10-hour days (7:00 am–5:30 pm) with Wednesdays off; rotating call approximately every 4th or 5th weekend from 8:00 am–2:00 pm. Setting: hospital imaging department in the Concord area; occasional float to nearby facilities as needed. Local candidates eligible for local rate (less than 50 miles). Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive vascular ultrasound examinations (arterial and venous) for adult patients, including extremities and select abdomen studies as needed
- Acquire high-quality images using ultrasound equipment, with Doppler, color flow, and spectral analysis; optimize studies for interpretation
- Document findings clearly and completely in the EMR and prepare preliminary results for review by the interpreting physician or vascular surgeon
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and consent; follow infection control and sterile technique as appropriate
- Maintain equipment and organize workflow; coordinate with referring clinicians and team members
- Participate in on-call coverage as assigned; rotate through weekends and maintain patient care standards during call periods
- Demonstrate unit-specific knowledge and competencies; provide accurate data for billing and coding
- EMR experience with Cerner is preferred but not required
Requirements
- Active New Hampshire license at time of submission (NH license in hand required)
- BLS certification
- Certifications: Registered Vascular Sonographer (CCI) or Registered Vascular Technician (ARDMS)
- Experience: minimum 2 years in a dedicated vascular lab in an acute care setting; unit-specific experience within the last 6 months recommended; tentative approval possible for same-unit experience within the last 9 months if competencies are current
- Demonstrated ability to perform adult vascular ultrasound studies; comfortable with a range of vascular protocols
- Strong imaging, procedural, and documentation skills; ability to work in a hospital environment and participate in rotating on-call
- EMR experience preferred (Cerner experience is a plus but not required)
- Willingness to float to nearby facilities within the region as needed
