COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) travel assignment in Nashua, New Hampshire. Start date: 03/30/2026.13-week contract. Guaranteed hours: 35 per week. Weekly pay: 1,653–1,704 per week. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of an OT, supporting treatment plans for residents.
- Implement therapeutic activities to improve self-care, mobility, gait, balance, and upper-extremity function.
- Prepare treatment areas, assist with equipment setup, and support both individual and group therapy sessions.
- Document treatment provided, track patient progress, and report changes or issues to the supervising OT.
- Monitor safety, adhere to infection control practices, and maintain patient comfort.
- Collaborate with the OT team, nursing staff, and caregivers to coordinate care and support discharge planning.
Requirements
- Active COTA credential and ability to practice in the relevant setting
- Availability to work 5x8 day shifts (08:00–16:30) in a travel assignment
- Ability to work in a long-term care setting with geriatric residents
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; attention to detail in documentation
- Willingness to commit to a 13-week contract with guaranteed hours
- Ability to comply with facility policies and safety standards
