Travel Registered Nurse CCU Job
Registered Nurse – Critical Care Unit (CCU), travel assignment in Hilo, Hawaii. Start date 06/08/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,838–$1,952. Shift: Flex with 12-hour shifts; orientation week required. Work in a hospital setting with ICU-level care, with potential floating to other critical care and step-down units as needed. The unit uses Meditech for clinical documentation and requires active Hawaii licensure by start.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to CCU patients with complex cardiovascular and critical conditions
- Monitor hemodynamics, ventilated patients, and advanced life support needs; titrate therapies as ordered
- Administer medications and therapies per protocol, document in the Meditech EMR, and communicate changes during rounds
- Lead or participate in multidisciplinary care planning, chart reviews, and rapid response as needed
- Ensure patient safety, infection control, and adherence to unit policies and procedures
Requirements
- Active Hawaii RN license required by start date
- Minimum 3 years of ICU/CCU experience with direct patient care in the last 3 years
- BLS and ACLS certification; NIHSS certification required or completed during orientation
- PALS certification preferred
- Proficiency with Meditech or similar EMR system
- Ability to work flexible 12-hour shifts, including day or night rotation; able to float to other critical care units as needed
- Must arrive the Thursday prior to start for employee health clearance
