Travel Registered Nurse ICU Job
Registered Nurse – ICU, travel assignment in Milan, New Mexico. Start date 06/21/2026 for a 13-week assignment on a days shift in a hospital setting. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized ICU care plans
- Deliver direct patient care across the lifespan, promoting optimal health outcomes in the ICU
- Provide clear, culturally sensitive education to patients and families to support health literacy and transitions of care
- Direct and supervise licensed practical nurses, nursing assistants, and other ancillary personnel; collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the broader care team
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record
- Participate in quality improvement, patient safety initiatives, and ongoing professional development; float to other departments as needed with appropriate orientation
Requirements
- Current New Mexico RN license or active Multi-State Compact (eNLC) license
- ADN required; BSN preferred
- BLS and ACLS required; PALS and NRP required within 12 months of hire
- Ability to interpret EKGs and care for critically ill patients
- ICU experience or relevant critical care education preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and critical-thinking skills; ability to work in a fast-paced hospital ICU setting; ability to collaborate with a diverse care team
