Licensed Practical Nurse - Long-Term Care in Las Cruces, New Mexico. This travel, temporary assignment begins on 05/18/2026 and runs for 15 weeks. The position offers a guaranteed 36 hours per week on a 06:00–18:30 shift within a skilled nursing facility setting.

Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and document administration accurately in patient records per policy
- Provide direct patient care, including vital signs, routine assessments, wound care, and assistance with activities of daily living
- Monitor for changes in patient condition and report findings to the supervising nurse; respond to urgent needs following established protocols
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, quality care and timely completion of care plans
- Maintain infection control standards, proper use of equipment, and patient safety while documenting care activities
- Ensure privacy and dignity of residents and uphold professional standards in a fast-paced LTC setting
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in New Mexico
- Experience or strong interest in long-term care or skilled nursing environments
- Ability to work the scheduled 06:00–18:30 shift and meet guaranteed hours
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on resident-centered care
- Must be able to work in a traveling assignment for 15 weeks
