Travel Registered Nurse Cath Lab Job
Cath Lab RN in a short-term acute care setting in Sonora, California. Start date: 04/13/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,472–$2,513 per week. Shift: 4x10s (days). This is a travel - temporary assignment with no guaranteed hours. Admin fee is already deducted from the rate. The assignment involves a daily call burden of 15 days per month. The RN license must be in the state of practice, and fluoroscopy duties are handled by Radiology Techs; no fluoroscopy license required for the RN role.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing interventional procedures in the cath lab, including monitoring, equipment setup, and assistance during procedures.
- Monitor cardiac rhythm and vitals, assess sedation levels, manage hemodynamics, and respond to intra-procedural changes promptly.
- Maintain sterile technique and assist the interventional team with catheter-based interventions; prepare equipment and document each step.
- Participate in post-procedure recovery, assess patient status, and deliver patient and family education for discharge planning.
- Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and other team members; communicate handoffs and ensure patient safety and quality standards.
- Note: No fluoroscopy license is required for the RN role; fluoroscopy duties are performed by Radiology Technologists.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California)
- BSN preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
- AHA BLS required
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS required
- Ability to work in a cath lab environment and adapt to 4x10-hour shifts
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment for 13 contract weeks
