Radiology Tech – MRI (Travel) is a 13-week assignment beginning July 6, 2026, in Cumming, GA. You’ll join a hospital-based imaging department provided by Healthforce Healthcare LLC, performing MRI studies on ED, inpatient, and outpatient populations. This travel opportunity offers guaranteed 36 hours per week with a weekly pay range of $2,273–$2,300. The schedule features 12-hour day shifts on a 12x3 pattern, with a typical Sun–Tue rotation from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations on the 720F MRI system, ensuring high-quality imaging for ED, inpatient, and outpatient referrals.
- Prepare and screen patients, obtain consent, position for imaging, monitor during the study, and address safety concerns according to MRI safety protocols.
- Administer contrast agents and manage monitoring as per protocol; be vigilant for contraindications and adverse reactions.
- Optimize imaging protocols and sequences to achieve diagnostic-quality images; communicate findings and any concerns to radiologists.
- Enter orders, patient data, and study details into Cerner; document imaging results and annotations accurately.
- Collaborate with radiologists and care teams; support a department that handles 25–30 patient studies per day and assist with breast imaging procedures as assigned.
Requirements
- Active ARRT MRI certification
- AHA BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of recent MRI experience in the specialty
- Proficiency with Cerner or equivalent EHR for imaging data entry
- Ability to work in a hospital imaging department on a travel assignment
- Willingness to work the specified 12-hour day shift schedule (Sun–Tue)
