Travel Registered Nurse ICU Job
Registered Nurse – ICU/PCU (Travel) in Clarkston, Washington. This travel assignment starts 06/29/2026 for 13 weeks, with 36 guaranteed hours per week on a Nights shift in a long-term care setting with an ICU/PCU component and occasional float to MSU as needed. Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care in ICU/PCU and related units, including monitoring patient status, administering medications, and implementing care plans.
- Maintain complete, accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and responses; ensure timely processing of physician orders and shift-change communications.
- Monitor and troubleshoot medical equipment; follow safety procedures and access equipment manuals as needed.
- Adhere to infection control and isolation procedures; apply standard precautions consistently.
- Report critical lab values promptly and communicate effectively with the care team to adjust care as indicated.
- Restock and organize emergency carts, room supplies, and general equipment; participate in handoffs and coordination with other departments.
- Willingness to float to MSU as needed and provide patient education to patients and significant others using appropriate modalities.
Requirements
- Active Washington RN license
- Experience in ICU/PCU and ability to float to MSU as needed
- Ability to work nights in a high-acuity care setting
- Strong documentation skills and attention to patient safety
- Graduate of an approved nursing program with current RN licensure in WA
- Effective communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment
