Shift: Night shift, 12-hour shifts on a 3-night cycle
Setting: Travel assignment in a large emergency department; level 1 trauma center experience preferred

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to adult and pediatric ED patients, prioritizing rapid assessment and stabilization
- Triage, monitor, interpret vital signs, and initiate emergency interventions as needed
- Administer medications, manage IV access, wound care, and pain control; document appropriately in the medical record
- Collaborate with physicians, ED staff, and ancillary teams to coordinate care and ensure timely patient throughput
- Stabilize patients with trauma or acute medical conditions; assist with resuscitation, imaging, and patient transfers
- Maintain patient safety, infection control standards, and provide education to patients and families
Requirements
- Active RN license (in the United States) and ability to obtain/transfer licensure as needed
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 4 years of well-rounded adult and pediatric ER experience; Level 1 trauma center experience preferred
- TNCC and ENPC preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ED environment and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
