Responsibilities
- Provide age-appropriate nursing care in the Labor and Delivery/Women’s Care unit, including assessment, care planning, and interventions for patients across the age spectrum.
- Administer medications and controlled substances safely; manage IV fluids in accordance with policy and procedure.
- Document patient assessments, plans, interventions, and responses; communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team; ensure concise handoffs.
- Demonstrate safe nursing techniques, respond promptly to emergencies, and collaborate with physicians and other providers to optimize patient care.
- Maintain unit cleanliness and safety, support regulatory and organizational standards, and contribute to team leadership as assigned.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California or eligibility/licensure by endorsement for California.
- Ability to perform age-appropriate nursing care in a Labor and Delivery/Women’s Care setting.
- Willingness to work night shifts on a 13-week travel assignment.
- Strong documentation, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to adherence with unit policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
