Travel Registered Nurse L&D Job
Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D), travel assignment in Havre, Montana. This 13-week travel-temporary opportunity begins May 27, 2026, with 36 guaranteed hours per week on a 3x12-hour rotating schedule (days and nights) in a hospital setting. Weekly pay ranges from $2,587 to $2,692, paid per week. Active Montana RN license is required, with ACLS, NRP, and BLS certifications. The assignment is in a remote area and requires reliable transportation. In-state Montana travelers are typically not considered unless located more than 250 miles from the assignment site. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetrical nursing care across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for the obstetrical patient and newborn using the nursing process
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, administer medications, and intervene as per protocol
- Support newborn care and parent education, including lactation support and newborn assessment
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, evidence-based care and patient flow
- Participate in rotational call and maintain readiness to respond to obstetric emergencies
Requirements
- Active Montana RN license
- Certifications: ACLS, NRP, and BLS required
- Education: current RN licensure; completed program in nursing
- Experience: not specified beyond specialty; ability to work in a high-acuity obstetrical setting
- Must have reliable transportation and be able to work in a remote area
- Willingness to participate in rotating day/night shifts and call
